Visiting hours The Fryštát chateau is open to the public between 1 April and 31 October with the exception of section III of the tour, which is open all year round. Tours can also be arranged outside normal opening hours and out of season; arrangements can be made by phone or in writing with the chateau management.

Chateau tours consist of three sections:

I Main chateau building
|

Exhibition of aristocratic house interiors from the 16th – 20th centuries
|

|
Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tours leave at half-hourly intervals. Closed: Modays. Closed on the first Saturday in each month until 1 p.m.

|
Tours last around 55 minutes. The last tour of any day begins one hour before closing time, i.e. at 4 p.m.

II Lottyhaus building
|
|
|
Exhibition of aristocratic and burghers’ house interiors from the 19th century
|
